Annabelle Dvir is a Georgian choreographer, voice artist, live music composer, dance performer & teacher, based in Jerusalem, Israel. She researches live art through the tension between sensation and presentation, and the dichotomy of the heard and the seen; Creates extreme physical-vocal practices in pursuit of that which the act of art has to offer to the humiliated, aching, bent body; wandering between the changing human contour of agony and pleasure, coercion to independence, the individual and the tribe; unifying them in “the performance body” as visual, audial-sonoric and plastic procedures.
